When you arrive.....

.....the bus station is just around the corner from the city’s bustling Style Mile – a square mile of the best high street, designer and independent shopping you’ll find outside London.

Head to luxury department stores John Lewis and House of Fraser. Pick up designer fashion at Massimo Dutti or Russell & Bromley or shop until you drop in one of the huge malls – Buchanan Galleries and St Enoch Centre have everything you could possibly want and more!

You’ll find some fantastic restaurants around the Style Mile. Head to Chippy Doon the Lane for a delicious fish tea or enjoy a unique Glasgow experience and indulge in a cake-fuelled afternoon tea at the Willow Tearooms. This is a stunning recreation of the tearooms that Glasgow’s famous architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh created for Kate Cranston.

Later in the afternoon.....

.....head for a tour of Glasgow City Chambers. This stunning Victorian building, the headquarters of the city council, stands proudly overlooking George Square. Always rated highly on Tripadvisor, the free tours take place at 2.30pm (Mon-Fri) and last around 45mins.

Before you go……

.....take a wander to Cathedral Precinct to visit the stunning Glasgow Cathedral and you’ll get a sense of the city’s fascinating history as you explore the Gothic masterpiece and adjoining Necropolis. If you have time, pop next door to the award-winning St Mungo Museum of Religious Life & Art. The Zen Garden is a haven of tranquility in the bustling city.

When you arrive.....

…pick up a take away lunch at Wee Guys - a great wee café/deli where you can choose from a delicious selection of fresh sandwiches and salads.

Join the City Sightseeing bus tour for an entertaining and colourful insight into Glasgow past & present. Tours depart George Square every ten minutes and the full audio guided tour takes around 1hr 15mins.

Why not hop off the tour at the Riverside Museum, a fascinating collection of trams, locomotives, cars and bikes with hands on interactive fun. And it’s free to visit! You can also climb aboard the The Tall Ship Glenlee berthed alongside, while across on the other side of the River, sits the titanium clad futuristic structure that is the Glasgow Science Centre – a must visit family attraction with 3 floors of interactive hands-on fun.

Later in the afternoon.....

…if shopping is more your thing, why not head to the Style Mile and treat the little ones to something special. The St Enoch Centre is a great place to head with the Disney Store and Hamleys or head to Buchanan Galleries for Scotland’s only Lego Store and The Entertainer toy shop.

Or one for the girls – treat yourself and your little princess to an express manicure at Manhattan Nails in Princes Square or Buchanan Galleries.

Before you go.....

...make a pit stop at Kimbles in St Enoch Centre for a tasty hot chocolate!

When you arrive.....

.....start your visit with a ‘Dear Green’ coffee from Riverhill Café

Head to the Style Mile and shop until you drop. Buchanan Galleries and St Enoch Centre are the malls which anchor either end of Buchanan Street and house all the biggest high street stores, from H&M and Superdry to Hollister and Mango.

Don’t forget to check out Royal Exchange Square and Princes Square for more speciality shopping and dining.

For a dose of culture, pop into the Gallery of Modern Art, the most visited modern art gallery in Scotland or The Lighthouse – check out the viewing platform on level 6 for amazing views across the city.

Later in the afternoon.....

.....rest those weary legs while enjoying some tasty treats and teapot cocktails at Cup Merchant City.

Enjoy being pampered with an express treatment in the Rainbow Rooms Express Beauty Bar in Royal Exchange Square. From HD brows to make up application, all treatments take less than an hour.

All day trips by coach are subject to availability and minimum numbers. If your trip does not operate because of lack of numbers, you will receive a full refund or the offer of being transferred to another day trip on the same or another date.
Full payment is required at time of booking.
No refund is due if you cancel the booking.
€5 service fee applies to non-web bookings.
€2.50 amendment fee applies to non-web changes made to a booking.
Only one item of hand luggage is permitted on day trips by coach.
Persons found to be misusing the day trip fare will be surcharged the standard weekend return foot passenger fare of €52 per adult and €24 per child
Children under 2 years travel free of charge but are not allocated a seat on the coach.
Children under 16 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18 years +).
Young adults (16–17 years) may travel unaccompanied but must have a letter of authority from a parent or guardian. Where groups of young adults are travelling together, each individual must have a letter of authority.
£5 shopping voucher can be used when you spend £25 in our onboard shop. Only one voucher per person and excludes alcohol and promotional items.

Important note for customers with particular needs
If you are a wheelchair user, we are able to meet your needs onboard our ships however the transfer coaches we use are NOT wheelchair accessible. We strongly recommend that you do not travel on this day trip unless you have someone who can assist you with boarding and disembarking the coach.
