Travemünde Port is part of the famous and historic Hanseatic town of Lübeck and is located by Lübeck Bay on the banks of the River Thrave, about 20km from the city centre. The port is well sign-posted from the A1.

Please note: Check-in closes 60 minutes before the scheduled departure for all passengers. When you arrive at Terminal Skandinavienkai, follow the Stena Line signs and go to lane L to check-in. The passports of all persons travelling as well as the vehicle documents must be presented.
Lübeck can be reached via the A1. Coming from Hamburg, take the A226 at the Bad Schwartau motorway junction and follow the signs for Travemünde/Skandinavienkai. The A226 merges into the B75; stay on the B75 until the exit Skandinavienkai-Nord. Turn right onto Travemünder Landstraße and continue straight on to the terminal.
Coming from Puttgarden, take the A1 exit towards Lübeck-Travemünde and turn right onto Dänischburger Landstraße. Turn left onto the A226 towards Skandinavienkai. The A226 merges into the B75; stay on the B75 until the exit Skandinavienkai-Nord. Turn right onto Travemünder Landstraße and continue straight on to the terminal.
Getting from Lübeck to Travemünde with Deutsche Bahn
Passengers travelling by train should exit the train at either Lübeck main station or Lübeck-Kücknitz station. From there, continue to Skandinavienkai Terminal (Hafenhaus) by bus:
From Lübeck main station:
Take bus number 50 from the main bus station (ZOB) directly to Skandinavienkai Terminal.
From Lübeck-Kücknitz:
Walk to the nearby Roter Hahn bus stop and take bus number 50 to the terminal.
Good to know:
There is no direct bus connection from the Lübeck-Travemünde Skandinavienkai train stop to the terminal.

Getting to the Stena Line terminal in Travemünde:
Monday – Saturday: Take bus number 50 from Lübeck main bus station (ZOB) directly to Skandinavienkai Terminal (Hafenhaus). During daytime hours, buses run every 30 minutes. In early morning and late evening, take bus number 34 to Roter Hahn bus stop and change to bus number 50 to reach the terminal.
Sundays: The terminal can be reached by bus number 34, which runs every 60 minutes between Lübeck ZOB and Skandinavienkai Terminal (Hafenhaus). In early morning and late evening, take bus number 34 to Roter Hahn bus stop and change to bus number 50 to reach the terminal.
Travelling from the Stena Line terminal into Travemünde:
Take bus number 50 from Skandinavienkai Terminal (Hafenhaus). On weekdays during daytime hours, bus number 35 also operates between the terminal and Travemünde.

A taxi from Lübeck to our ferry port in Travemünde takes approximately 20 minutes, traffic permitting.
