Holyhead Port is located on Anglesey in North Wales. The port is conveniently situated at the end of the A55 dual carriageway. It is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes from Chester, 2 hours from Liverpool, 2 hours and 20 minutes from Manchester and 3 hours and 15 minutes from Birmingham when travelling by car. A Travelodge can be found in Holyhead town and there are hotels and supermarkets close by.
A short stay car park (up to 20 minutes only) is located outside the terminal building. This can only be used for setting down and picking up passengers or ticket collection.
Disabled parking: 4 parking space are available at the short stay car park in Terminal 1. These can be used as long stay if required.
A long stay car park is available with a Park & Ride service taking customers to Terminal 1.
The charges are as follows:
- 12 hours – £4.00
- 24 hours – £8.00
- Weekly – £56.00
Payment can be made by cash or credit card using the card machine in the car park or you can pre-book at the Stena Line ticket desk in the terminal building.
Park & Ride shuttle service times:
The last bus from the car park departs 40 minutes before scheduled sailing times. If you require the long term parking facilities it is advised that you arrive at the port at least 1 hour before your sailing.
