Car Holyhead Port is located on Anglesey in North Wales. The port is conveniently situated at the end of the A55 dual carriageway. It is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes from Chester, 2 hours from Liverpool, 2 hours and 20 minutes from Manchester and 3 hours and 15 minutes from Birmingham when travelling by car. A Travelodge can be found in Holyhead town and there are hotels and supermarkets close by. A short stay car park (up to 20 minutes only) is located outside the terminal building. This can only be used for setting down and picking up passengers or ticket collection. Disabled parking: 4 parking spaces are available at the short stay car park in Terminal 1. These can be used as long stay if required. There are two small, long stay car parks close to the terminal. Car park 1 has a height restriction of 2.4m (entrance at GPS 53.306980, -4.630423 before the roundabout at the terminal entrance) and car park 2 has a height restriction of 2.1m (entrance at 53.307538, -4.628757, take the third exit off the roundabout at the terminal entrance onto Llanfawr Road then turn left onto Turkey Shore Road).
