Fall in love with Paris

Be prepared to fall in love when you visit Paris. With its iconic buildings, art, divine fashion and culinary experiences, you’ll never want to leave the magical city of lights.

Discover Paris at your own speed and sign up for a walking tour to see the architectural wonders it has to offer. Hop onboard a bus tour and jump off whenever the mood takes you, or glide along the River Seine on a sightseeing tour accompanied with delicious food. Fancy dinner and a show? Then check out ‘Moulin Rouge Cabaret’ and enjoy a night of singing and dancing.

For the book lovers, browse the shelves of the world-famous bookshop ‘Shakespeare and Company’ or visit Père Lachaise cemetery and see the graves of musical and literary heroes including Jim Morrison and Oscar Wilde.

For a truly extravagant retail experience, have a stroll down the Champs-Élysées and take in the big luxury fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton and Cartier. If you don’t have the budget for the high-end designers, Zara and H&M also have premises on the famous street. Prefer your shopping experience to be a bit more eclectic? Then venture to the Marais, this historic quarter is ideal for those who like unique and finely crafted art, bespoke jewellery as well as cosmetics and perfumeries. The Boulevard Haussmann is considered to be the main shopping district in Europe with 120 million visitors a year. Its stores feature fashion, leisure, and beauty, so make sure you leave some space in the boot for shopping bags, as you’re guaranteed to pick up some treats!

Paris is synonymous with fashion and art. One of the many landmarks that Paris has to offer is The Louvre. Appreciate breath-taking art from the moment you step onto the main courtyard when you see The Louvre Pyramid. Constructed of glass and metal, this amazing feature is the main entrance to the museum and is surrounded by three smaller pyramids. With over 35,000 works to view including ‘The Mona Lisa’ by Leonardo Da Vinci, plan well in advance when travelling so you don’t miss out! Musée d’Orsay was once a train station and is now home to works by Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh, and Toulouse-Lautrec as well as decorative arts from the Art Nouveau.

What was meant to be a temporary structure has now become a permanent spectacle in Paris. The Eiffel Tower stands at 1063 feet and its beacon of light can be seen throughout the city. If you wish to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower, you can take the stairs from the bottom to the second floor which is 674 steps, and then take the lift from there. If you’re feeling adventurous you can take the steps all the way to the top, it’s only 1665 steps! Be sure to check the weather in advance of your trip to guarantee a clear view of the city. Another spectacular sight to behold is the Arc de Triomphe monument which honours those who fought and died during the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars.

Fall back in love with life when you see Paris and enjoy a break rich in culture, fashion, and city experiences.
