The starting point for any stay at Bluestone is the accommodation, and all our lodges are designed to provide the perfect environment for shared family time. Designed to inspire and connect with the surrounding environment while ensuring your comfort and convenience, they are superbly stylish, very well-equipped, and are just very pleasant places to be.

There are three types of lodge - all furnished and equipped to the same high standards, so perhaps the determining factor in your choice will be size.

The Skomers have three bedrooms and three bathrooms, and are liberatingly spacious. They also have 'cwtch' – a cosy little area tucked away upstairs, where the kids (or adults) can enjoy a little quiet time.

The Ramsey and Caldey lodges each have two bedrooms. The two-storey Ramsey has two en-suite bathrooms, while the semi-detached Caldey is all on one floor and has a wetroom.

At Bluestone, however, luxury and environmental responsibility are not mutually exclusive concepts. There were three main priorities when it came to the design and manufacture of the lodges. They had to be as sympathetic to the landscape as possible; they had to be highly energy-efficient and they had to be built with sustainable materials, they are all built from sustainably-sourced European whitewood and located within two Bluestone vales covering 500 acres. The lodges have extremely high insulation values and the south-facing ones have solar panels to heat water.
